The Center for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition provides specialized care for children and teens with digestive, liver, and nutritional concerns. Its board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, Dr. Rajeev Nagpal and Dr. Christopher Smith, work with nurse practitioners Stephanie Mensch and Jessica Espinoza to offer accessible, compassionate medical care to families across the Southern and Western Chicago suburbs. Spanish-speaking support is available through Jessica Espinoza.

The practice evaluates and treats a broad range of conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, abdominal pain, reflux, rumination, hepatitis, and jaundice. Services include colonoscopy and care for common and less common pediatric gastrointestinal problems. Same-day appointments may be available, and families can request appointments by phone or online.

The Center serves patients at offices in Evergreen Park, Naperville, Elmhurst, Romeoville, and Highland, and is affiliated with several Chicagoland hospitals, including Advocate Children’s Hospital-Oak Lawn, Advocate Christ Medical Center, Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, and Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center.
