Central California SBDC Regional Network is a Small Business Development Center network serving entrepreneurs and businesses across Central and Coastal California. Its mission is to help businesses start, grow, transition, and innovate through expert guidance and practical resources. The network provides one-on-one business advising, workshops, webinars, training, market research, and support with access to capital. Advisors assist with topics including financing, cash flow, hiring, marketing, artificial intelligence tools, government contracting, and buying or selling a business. Manufacturers can also receive no-cost individual advising, resources, and strategic connections related to growth, compliance, automation, efficiency, and profitability.
The network serves businesses at every stage, from startups to established companies, and offers assistance at low or no cost. Its regional centers have merged to form the Monarch SBDC, hosted by UC Merced and serving Monterey, San Benito, Mariposa, and Merced counties, with services continuing during the transition. The organization is funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and California’s Office of the Small Business Advocate.
