Central Texas Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief charity in the Central Texas region. With the help of food donors, financial supporters, and volunteers, they strive to address the unmet needs of the community. Last year alone, they provided nearly 54 million meals to families and local nonprofits in need.

Central Texas Food Bank operates in three key ways. Firstly, they distribute free food and provide education on low-cost, healthy eating to families in need. Secondly, they assist families who qualify for federal assistance programs, connecting them to life-enhancing resources.

Lastly, they make food affordable for charitable and government partners, allowing them to allocate limited resources to enhance their programs. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, Central Texas Food Bank collaborates with Feeding America and Feeding Texas. Their service territory spans across 21 counties, and they work with around 300 partner agencies to serve the community through soup kitchens, food pantries, after-school programs, snack programs, and more.
