At Centro Barlovento, we value diversity and view individuals with intellectual disabilities as active agents in their lives and as individuals with rights. That is why we focus on three main areas of work: social inclusion, employment inclusion, and the development of autonomy.

Through our workshops and gatherings, we aim to empower participants to maximize their skills in various domains. We encourage young individuals to actively engage in real environments and take on diverse roles within society.

In terms of social inclusion, we strive to enhance the social participation of each individual by developing the necessary skills for active and appropriate engagement in different settings. Additionally, we promote meaningful and suitable employment for every young person based on their interests and motivations, adopting a rights-based approach and supported employment model.

Furthermore, we facilitate the acquisition of skills for active and independent living in society, fostering proactive, autonomous, secure, and responsible behavior.
