CENTRODONNA – George Sand

CENTRODONNA George Sand APS is a community-focused association and Third Sector organisation based in Favara, Italy. Registered in the national register of Third Sector organisations, it works to promote social solidarity, health, wellbeing and women’s participation in community life. Its services include a family counselling centre and a youth counselling service, alongside a solidarity clinic, a breastfeeding support desk and pelvic floor rehabilitation. The organisation also offers opportunities for families and individuals to access information and support at different stages of life, including prenatal and post-partum courses and activities on menopause and wellbeing.

CENTRODONNA develops educational projects with schools, including programmes on emotional and sexual wellbeing for young people. It also organises community initiatives focused on preventing gender-based violence, building healthy relationships, health awareness and prevention. Through its news and projects, the association shares updates on activities and opportunities to participate. People can support its work by becoming ordinary or volunteer members, taking part in initiatives, volunteering or making a donation.
