Centro Imago

Centro Imago is a private, accredited day-treatment centre in Turin, Italy, specialising in the care, diagnosis and rehabilitation of people affected by addiction. Its programmes support adults with substance dependencies, including drugs and alcohol, as well as behavioural addictions such as gambling, compulsive shopping, relationship and technology-related dependencies. The centre also assesses younger people and individuals with specific psychiatric or legal circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Rather than requiring residential care, Centro Imago offers an intensive outpatient approach designed to fit around clients’ family, social and working lives. Services include initial reception and assessment, diagnostic observation, structured treatment programmes for drug and alcohol dependence, support for problem gambling, and additional projects addressing cocaine and emerging forms of addiction. The centre provides detoxification through hospital admission and TMS among its other services.

Its multidisciplinary team of educators, psychologists and doctors works with clients’ families and, where appropriate, coordinates with local addiction services. Access is available directly or through referral by a Ser.D service.
