Centro Insieme

Centro Insieme is a rehabilitation centre in Avellino, Italy, providing outpatient and home-based care, primarily for people with complex or permanent disabilities. Its roots date back nearly fifty years, and its work has developed from physiotherapy into a multidisciplinary approach to physical, psychological, sensory and communication needs. The centre delivers around 84,000 treatments annually through services accredited by the Campania Regional Health Service, with a smaller share of care provided privately.

Its therapies include physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, neuropsychomotor therapy and psychotherapy. Programmes support people with conditions including developmental and learning disorders, autism, communication difficulties, neurological or orthopaedic motor disabilities, cognitive and behavioural challenges, and brain injuries. Each patient’s rehabilitation plan is tailored by a multidisciplinary team, which may include specialist doctors, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers. The team sets goals, reviews progress and adjusts care according to the patient’s needs and abilities, while involving families where appropriate.
