Centro Karate Sportivo (CKS) is an amateur sports association founded in 1982, offering karate instruction and community-based activities in Soresina and the surrounding area. With five locations in Soresina, Quinzano d’Oglio, Casalbuttano, Cappella Cantone and San Paolo, it welcomes children from age three, teenagers and adults. Classes range from early-years movement and coordination to age-appropriate karate, recreational training and competition preparation.
Qualified FIJLKAM instructors guide students in developing technique, discipline, confidence, fitness and respect, with pathways suited to different ages and goals. CKS also provides complementary activities at its Soresina fitness room: personal defense for participants aged 16 and over, yoga, and functional fitness using weights and bodyweight exercises. Led technically by founder and seventh-dan black belt Master Ugo Ferrari, the association combines martial arts training with personal growth and team spirit.
Prospective members can contact CKS to identify a suitable course and location or arrange a trial session; online registration is also available
