About Centro Montevideo
Centro Psicosocial Montevideo is a non-profit Civil Association that has been providing psychosocial, cultural, and vocational support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental disorders, and those in vulnerable situations since 2012. Their dedicated team includes a Psychiatrist, Psychologists, and Social Workers, along with skilled educators and technicians from various fields. They offer group-based intervention programs tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on enhancing their quality of life.
The center aims to foster self-care, self-reliance, and autonomy through a supportive socio-educational process. They offer a variety of programs like the Day Center with diverse workshops, vocational insertion programs like "A Book, A Hug," job opportunities with the Municipality of Montevideo, therapeutic spaces, and recreational activities.
