Il Centro Ortokinesis

Centro Ortokinesis is a rehabilitation and physiotherapy centre based in Piaggine, in Italy’s Salerno province. Established in 1988, it supports people with physical and psychological disabilities through individualized care intended to promote functional recovery, well-being and social reintegration. Services are available on an outpatient basis, at home and through its day centre for people with disabilities.

Its care programmes include physiotherapy, neuro-motor rehabilitation, occupational therapy, speech therapy, child psychomotor therapy, supportive psychotherapy and ABA-based treatment. The centre also offers electrostimulation, magnetotherapy, radar therapy and ultrasound therapy, alongside robotic rehabilitation equipment. A dedicated rehabilitation pool enables hydrotherapy, including programmes for people recovering from orthopaedic surgery or injuries and those with neurological conditions.

The day centre combines rehabilitation and educational activities to encourage autonomy, well-being and social inclusion while supporting families. Home visits are available by appointment, and the centre provides two accessible minibuses for transporting people with disabilities at no charge. Its facilities in Piaggine include rehabilitation spaces and a pool designed for therapeutic exercise.
