Centro Paroquial Paderne

Centro Paroquial de Paderne is a community-focused social organisation founded in 1996 by Canon Carlos César Chantre, with support from local residents and donations. Recognised as a public-benefit entity since 1997, it is guided by Christian values and works to promote social development and individual well-being. Its headquarters are at the Centro Comunitário de Paderne, and it operates two additional social establishments in the municipality of Albufeira.

The organisation supports children, older adults and families through a range of social services. These include nursery care, designed to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment in close collaboration with their families; a day centre that helps older people remain connected to family and community life; and home-care services delivered throughout the year across the parish of Paderne. It also offers residential care for older people facing risks to their independence or autonomy. Its listed services include a food bank. The centre welcomes donations and community support to help sustain its work and assist people in need.
