Centro Visite Lesina

Centro Visite Lesina is a tourism and environmental education project of the Amici delle Lagune del Gargano A.P.S., bringing together local tourism operators, professional environmental guides and environmental associations. For more than 15 years, it has helped visitors discover the Lagoon of Lesina and the Gargano through experiences that connect nature, local history and fishing traditions.

Its activities include boat trips aboard a traditional Lesinese vessel, sunset excursions, and guided walks in Bosco Isola and the fishing village. Visitors can explore lagoon channels, the Acquarotta canal, San Clemente and the Adriatic coast, while learning about local landscapes and wildlife. The centre also arranges outings for families, adult and senior groups, and associations.

For schools, it offers tailored educational trips lasting one to three days, combining boat journeys, nature walks and visits to places across the Gargano, including Monte Sant’Angelo and Foresta Umbra. Licensed tourist guides are available, and the team can help coordinate programmes, meals and, on request, transport.
