Centrum Orion z.s.

Centrum Orion is a Czech nonprofit organization supporting people with disabilities and their families. For more than 25 years, it has helped people pursue the most independent, active, and fulfilling lives possible, while offering practical support to families and caregivers.

Its services include a day service for people with physical, intellectual, or multiple disabilities, personal assistance at home, at school, and during leisure activities, and professional social counseling. The organization also offers homesharing, which gives children with disabilities regular stays in a host’s home and provides family caregivers with support. Through a training apartment, clients can practice everyday skills such as cooking and managing their own routines. Centrum Orion is working toward a community home for people with significant and multiple intellectual disabilities, with appropriate staff support.

The organization connects families through shared activities and membership in its association. It also sells clients’ handmade products, including gifts and promotional items such as key rings, badges, pins, and magnets. Centrum Orion welcomes contact and support for its services and housing plans.
