Centrum Hladina

Centrum Hladina is a multidisciplinary psychotherapy and psychological counselling practice serving children and adults in Prague and the surrounding area. Its team of qualified, experienced professionals works with adults, children and adolescents, university and college students, and couples preparing for marriage. Services also include supervision for professionals in social services, education, healthcare and businesses; coaching; training and lecturing; and body-oriented approaches such as body psychotherapy and bioenergetics. The centre has two locations, in Dejvice and Prague’s New Town, and accepts new clients by appointment.

Centrum Hladina describes its work as guiding people as they explore their own paths and possibilities for change. Its approach emphasises empathy, respect, confidentiality and attention to each client’s individual circumstances. Practitioners aim to understand concerns in a broader context and take account of clients’ thoughts, emotions and bodily experience. Where agreed with the client, the team can collaborate across disciplines with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, general practitioners, neurologists, rehabilitation doctors and physiotherapists. The centre also shares information about health-insurance contributions available to clients.
