Catholic Education Opportunities Foundation

The Catholic Education Opportunities Foundation (CEOF) is a nonprofit organization serving students and families in Central and Eastern Kentucky within the Diocese of Lexington. It raises and provides tuition assistance for children attending Catholic schools from kindergarten through eighth grade, supporting both Catholic and non-Catholic families seeking a faith-based, academically excellent education. The foundation’s mission is to help make Catholic schooling more accessible, while its vision is to nurture future servant-leaders grounded in strong values, academic achievement, and the Catholic faith.

CEOF’s work centers on financial assistance for K–8 students and community engagement in support of Catholic education. Its fundraising and awareness activities include events such as Night of Light, Luminaria, and the Golf Scramble, as well as sponsorship opportunities and ways to give. The foundation also recognizes contributors to education through its Distinguished Educator and Distinguished Alumnus programs. Families can find information about applying for assistance, while supporters can review annual newsletters, assessment and performance summaries, and IRS Form 990 information. CEOF is based in Lexington, Kentucky.
