About CEPA
CEPA, the Centre for Environmental Policy and Advocacy, is a think tank and advocacy institution dedicated to promoting sustainable development and the management of the environment and natural resources. Their vision is to create a just and equitable society that prioritizes sustainable development. To achieve their mission and goals, CEPA focuses on two main areas: Policy, Research, and Advocacy; and Institutional Strengthening.
Within these areas, their priority themes for 2016-2020 are Natural Resources, Biodiversity, and Climate Change. CEPA's range of programmes and projects address a wide range of environmental issues, including biodiversity conservation, climate change resilience, sustainable agriculture, mining governance, waste management, and water resource management. They work closely with partners such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement their initiatives.
