Welcome to Community Empowerment for Peace and Development West Nile (CEPAD-WN), a voluntary non-profit organization committed to empowering communities and building peace. Founded in 2014 by Ugandan women who have extensive experience in conflict zones, CEPAD-WN is dedicated to resisting violence, transforming conflicts, and promoting peaceful coexistence. As a registered entity in Uganda, CEPAD-WN collaborates with civil society organizations, youth, women, faith-based groups, and refugee populations to create positive change.

Through our various projects, we focus on peacebuilding, nonviolent conflict transformation, governance and democracy, gender and youth empowerment, as well as women and girl child education. We also work closely with traditional structures in West Nile, believing that sustainable peace can only be achieved through grassroots involvement. Based in Arua, Uganda, CEPAD-WN provides support to vulnerable groups and partners across the country.
