About CEPREMAP
CEPREMAP, the Centre for Economic Research and its Applications, is a Paris-based research institution dedicated to advancing economic research and bringing rigorous scientific analysis to public debate. Its work is organised around three areas: macroeconomics, well-being economics, and finance for development. These activities are carried out through the Institute for Macroeconomic and International Policies, the Observatory of Well-Being, and the Finance for Development Lab.
The centre produces and shares research through books, reports, working papers, policy notes, newsletters, and public events. Its publications examine issues including economic policy, research and development incentives, employment, living conditions, social cohesion, and political polarisation. CEPREMAP also provides macroeconomic outlooks based on data collected through DBnomics and makes related reports and archives available. Its research tools include Dynare and DBnomics, while targeted funding supports emerging research projects. By connecting specialist research with current social and economic questions, CEPREMAP offers resources for researchers, policymakers, and members of the public seeking evidence-based perspectives.
