About Center For Relief Aid And Development
CERAD (Center For Relief Aid And Development) is a grassroots non-governmental organization established in 2018, dedicated to improving the lives of women, young people, and children in Uganda. Founded by Judith Kansiime, inspired by personal experiences with maternal health challenges, CERAD focuses on critical areas including sexual reproductive health, maternal health, economic empowerment, and child protection.
The organization operates with core values of integrity, accountability, open communication, and innovation, striving to reduce maternal and child mortality rates while promoting sustainable healthcare. CERAD's mission emphasizes universal access to quality health services, alongside addressing socio-economic and environmental challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
Key projects include the "Save Every Mother and Child" initiative and the Bionet Medical Center, which aim to provide essential healthcare services. With a committed team of health professionals, CERAD is making significant strides towards creating resilient communities through effective advocacy and service delivery, ensuring that no one is left behind.
