Cerakko Farm is a charming and picturesque farm located in the Appalachian foothills of northeastern Alabama. Surrounded by breathtaking views, cold creeks, deep woods, and green rolling hills, our farm offers a peaceful getaway from the bustling city life. We initially purchased this land as a weekend retreat for our family, with the intention of giving our children a taste of small-town living.

The name Cerakko, which loosely translates to horse in the Creek Indian language, conveys the rich history and lore of the area. At the heart of our farm is Merlin, a beloved Thoroughbred race horse who inspired us to create a retirement home for him after his show jumping career ended due to racing injuries. Merlin's image is featured in our logo, symbolizing the essence of Cerakko Farm.

Although Merlin passed away in 2014 and rests on the farm, his spirit lives on as we continue to embrace the beauty of nature and offer a selection of original, handmade block prints, hand-forged wine cradles, and farm-fresh candles in our Mercantile. Pay us a visit to experience the tranquility of our green acres and discover the passion we have for our farm and its legacy
