CERCICHAVES is a cooperative based in Chaves, Portugal, focused on education, rehabilitation, capacity-building and inclusion for people with disabilities. Its work is guided by a commitment to dignity, participation and shared wellbeing, with the aim of creating a more inclusive community. The organization supports people with disabilities and their families through activities and information related to accessibility, dyslexia, adapted sport, augmentative and alternative communication, and autism spectrum disorder.
Its “Desporto sem Barreiras” project encourages people with disabilities to take part in physical activity and promotes Boccia among community members, institutions and other organizations.
