A CERCISIAGO

CERCISIAGO is a cooperative dedicated to the education and rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities or support needs. Serving the municipalities of Sines, Santiago do Cacém and Odemira, it aims to improve people’s quality of life and support their inclusion in different settings throughout their lives. Its services span education, vocational training and support for participation, development and independence.

These include a specialised education centre, two activity and inclusion centres, a Centre for Inclusion Resources, a local resource centre, and residential services in Santiago do Cacém and Sines. CERCISIAGO also provides a residence focused on autonomy and inclusion, as well as early intervention services in Santiago do Cacém and Sines. Its work seeks to stimulate cognitive, social and physical development.

The Arca dos Sonhos expressive arts group is supported by a multidisciplinary professional team, reflecting the organisation’s emphasis on using creative activities to build skills and participation. CERCISIAGO also shares news and events and promotes self-advocacy through its representatives
