The Cercle de l’Aviron de Marseille (CAM) is a rowing club based in the Estaque Plage district of Marseille. Founded in 1940, it brings together nearly 500 members around the values of discipline, teamwork and camaraderie. The club holds the French Rowing Federation’s three-star French Rowing School label and offers programs for competitive athletes, school groups and recreational rowers.

Its competition program supports around 80 athletes, with qualified coaches guiding training for regional, national and international events. The club also welcomes about 250 primary- and secondary-school students each year for introductory rowing sessions. Recreational activities cater to a range of ages and abilities, including sea rowing and outings on a 2,500-metre channel. AviFit classes provide indoor rowing-based fitness focused on endurance, strength and wellbeing.

CAM’s facilities include a boat garage, gym, repair workshop, clubhouse and pontoon. The club also hosts corporate seminars and team-building events, and its marina section manages nearly 150 boats, including sailboats, kayaks, canoes and motorboats.
