Vereinigung Cerebral Zürich

Vereinigung Cerebral Zürich is an organization that supports people with cerebral disabilities in pursuing greater participation, independence and self-expression. It works toward a society in which people with disabilities are accepted and respected, and helps individuals develop confidence, self-determination and the ability to communicate their needs. Its programs offer opportunities for recreation and connection, with activities adapted to participants’ needs and interests.

The organization arranges experience weeks and weekend programs for children, young people and adults, as well as courses and a range of leisure activities. These include Malteser Monday activities and excursions, a hiking group and the Young-Club. It also provides opportunities for peer and parent counseling, self-help and parent groups, and shares information with people affected by disability, professionals and other interested readers.
