CEREMH is a French nonprofit association, founded in 2008 and recognised as a centre of expertise by the CNSA for mobility aids. Based in Vélizy-Villacoublay, it works to make independent travel more accessible for people with disabilities, supporting young people, adults and older people to regain or maintain their mobility.
Its services cover adapted driving and practical mobility support. CEREMH assesses driving fitness, helps people explore vehicle adaptations suited to their abilities, and provides driving lessons through its adapted driving school. Its information centre also offers guidance on driving and disability. Through CEREMH Formation, the association trains occupational therapists, driving instructors and doctors. CEREMH Lab evaluates mobility aids with users, supports applied research and contributes to innovation in disability mobility solutions. The organisation also independently tests technical aids and offers professionals access to evaluation tools, including a driving assessment bench developed with the BECAPE software.
CEREMH combines individual support, professional training and research to advance inclusive mobility.
