CERUNIQ

CERUNIQ is the Swiss industry association for leading tiling companies and specialist retailers in interior design. Representing German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino, it works with the Fédération Romande du Carrelage to develop the tiling industry nationwide. Its mission is to help create living spaces that support people’s happiness and productivity while strengthening the craft and businesses behind them.

CERUNIQ connects members through regional sections, industry events, partnerships, and opportunities to contribute to committees and working groups. It supports the sector with technical information, specialist publications, legal guidance, insurance solutions, workplace safety resources, and communications services. The association also awards the PLATINIUM quality label and a product quality seal.

Education and career development are central to its work. CERUNIQ promotes apprenticeships for tilers, supports training businesses and learners, and provides information on qualifications, courses, and further education. Its Platten-Champions programme encourages talent and participation in professional competitions, including SwissSkills and WorldSkills. Through its “keramik-einzigartig” campaign and pop-up store with retail partners, CERUNIQ also showcases new ceramic tile ranges from manufacturers.
