Červená Hviezda

Kúpalisko Červená hviezda is a renovated outdoor swimming complex in Košice, located at Staničné námestie 5. Combining modern facilities with its heritage as a technical monument, the complex offers several pools for different visitors: a swimming pool, a non-swimmer pool, a children’s pool, and a stainless-steel water polo pool with lighting. Pool water is treated using modernised equipment alongside preserved gravity filtration. In summer, the site also provides a new multifunctional children’s playground and sandpit.

Visitors can buy day tickets, with reduced prices available for children, seniors, people with disabilities, and eligible students. Children under two enter free with proof of age. The venue has a restaurant serving hot and cold meals, plus refreshment kiosks offering soft drinks, ice cream, and mixed beverages. Accessibility features include step-free access to the pools, accessible toilets, and a shower for visitors with reduced mobility. The seasonal opening schedule and public access to the water polo pool may vary; that pool is also reserved for club training at designated times.
