About CESH
The Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health (CESH) is a collaborative effort between Makerere University in Uganda and Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. It focuses on sustainable health, conducting research and providing tools and resources to improve well-being while respecting planetary boundaries. CESH offers capacity development programs, educational initiatives, and research in areas such as sexual and reproductive health, children's health, non-communicable diseases, and climate change.
They work with various academic institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and Tinkr, a social innovation company, on international projects. Global Conversations on Sustainable Health and webinars are organized to foster creative solutions and engagement. With over 20 years of contributions and impactful partnerships, CESH invites collaboration to make a difference together.
