Conservation Education Society is a brand that aims to educate and raise awareness about marine conservation and sustainability. Based in Diani, Kenya, the society was officially established in March 2019, though work had already begun in October 2018. The founders partnered with the Marine Education Centre with two key objectives: to educate guests, students, and as many people as possible on marine conservation, and to create a network of partners within conservation to support and expose the fantastic work happening along Kenya's coastline.

In just one year, Conservation Education Society has made significant strides. Over 750 students from local and international schools have visited their Marine Education Centre and participated in their educational programs. The society has also formed partnerships with local organizations that share their passion for conservation.

Their mission is to engage and empower everyone to play a role, no matter how big or small, in conserving and protecting our natural world. They believe that through education, empowerment, and collaboration, we can all contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally aware world. Diani's status as one of the best beaches in the world has attracted visitors from around the globe.

However, this has put a strain on Kenya's coastline, impacting ecosystems and wildlife negatively. Unsustainable fishing, pollution, poaching, and the selling of marine products for tourism have all taken their toll. Conservation Education Society aims to address these challenges and work towards a more sustainable future
