Offene Arme is an NGO located in Chios, Greece, dedicated to supporting asylum seekers and refugees. As the only remaining organization of its kind on the island, Offene Arme operates a Free Shop that provides essential non-food items to those in need. This includes clothing, shoes, and hygiene items.

They offer a unique approach, allowing asylum seekers and refugees to choose their own items, helping them maintain a small sense of normality. Additionally, Offene Arme runs a Pop-up Shop outside the Vial Closed Control Access Center (CCAC) specifically for unaccompanied minors. They also distribute hygiene items and excess stock outside the CCAC whenever possible.

The organization provides various services such as hospital transfers, landing packs of essentials for emergency situations, and support for mothers and babies. Offene Arme operates in a constantly changing environment, relying on the generous donations of organizations and individual donors, as well as the efforts of over 2000 volunteers. With resources strained and a decrease in monthly donations and volunteers, Offene Arme relies on the support of individuals willing to volunteer, donate funds, or provide supplies to help them continue their vital work
