Cesta mateřství is a maternity and breastfeeding support service operating in the Chrudim and Pardubice areas. It is run by Kateřina Gregorová, a children’s nurse and lactation consultant, and Sabina Paar Javůrková, a midwife and lactation consultant. Drawing on their healthcare experience and ongoing learning, they offer mothers practical guidance and supportive, personal consultations during pregnancy and early parenthood.
Their breastfeeding services address latch and feeding positions, milk supply, engorgement, blocked ducts and mastitis, expressing and handling breast milk, and alternative methods of supplementation. They also provide help with baby care and understanding an infant’s needs. Families can borrow breastfeeding equipment, including breast pumps and baby scales, and purchase selected items such as silver nursing cups, flower essences and bonding dresses. Individual prenatal preparation is available for expectant parents.
Consultations take place at home or by arrangement, with service areas centred on Chrudim and Pardubice. The team’s approach emphasises warm, individual support rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.
