Cestou vůle, z.s. is a nonprofit association based in Strakonice, Czech Republic, founded in 2001 at the local Special Primary School. Its central purpose is to help children, young people and adults with intellectual or other disabilities participate more fully in society. Since 2015, the association has been managed by members’ parents, who volunteer their time to handle administration and organize activities, events and talks.
The association creates opportunities for social inclusion through cultural, educational, sporting and rehabilitation events. Its activities bring participants and their families together, including seasonal gatherings such as a Christmas meeting with refreshments and gifts. A key resource is its centrally located clubhouse and garden, used throughout the year as a welcoming place to meet.
Cestou vůle also publishes promotional and informational materials, provides material and financial support for integration activities aligned with its mission, and occasionally sells products made by people with disabilities, parents and friends of the association. It additionally rents and lends movable items.
