Dans l’objectif de l'amélioration de la compétitivité de l’industrie automobile au Maroc, le Ministère chargé de l’industrie, en collaboration avec l’AMICA (Association Marocaine du Commerce et del’Industrie Automobile),ont créé, en mai 2005,le CETIEV(Centre Technique des Industries des Équipements pour Véhicules ),avec l’appui financier de l’union Européenne (Programme MEDA2). Le CETIEV est investi de deux missions principales: 1.Accompagner les industriels dans leur développement technologique et participer à la reconnaissance internationale de la filière automobile marocaine. 2.Protéger le consommateur marocain à travers le contrôle réglementaire des produits mis sur le marché national.
