CeVIS, the Centre of Expertise for Impact Assessment and Measurement, is an Italian hub dedicated to strengthening understanding and practice of social impact evaluation. It brings together public and private organisations, for-profit and nonprofit businesses, researchers, institutions, and impact professionals to develop methods, share measurement criteria, and explore ways to assess and communicate social value. Established through an agreement between the Turin Chamber of Commerce and the Cottino Foundation within the Torino Social Impact Strategic Plan, the Centre has been led scientifically and strategically by Cottino Social Impact Campus since 2022.

CeVIS supports research and knowledge sharing, convenes a network of partners and practitioners, and designs training, peer-learning, and networking opportunities for evaluators. It also responds to requests for pioneering impact measurement projects, testing innovative approaches and models. Its resources include manuals, reports, articles, practical tools, and case studies on topics such as sustainability, social care, community welfare, and Theory of Change.
