About Centre for Climate Change & Food Security
Centre For Climate Change & Food Security (CCCFS) is a Ghanaian-based Non-Governmental Organisation founded in 2015, dedicated to addressing climate change and its impacts on food security and sustainable agriculture. Led by Mahmud Mohammed-Nurudeen, a Journalist, Agriculturist, and Climate Scientist, CCCFS conducts research and advocacy on climate change, sustainable energy, food security, and health. The organization focuses on reducing rural poverty, improving food security, enhancing human health, and promoting sustainable resource management in Africa.
Operating from Kumasi, Ghana, with branches across the country and a representative in Nigeria, CCCFS implements initiatives like educational campaigns on climate change, sustainable agriculture projects, clean water access programs, biodiversity research, and more. Through subsidiaries like "Food for Africa" and "Feeding Ghana," CCCFS aims to create a world where communities flourish in harmony with nature, resilient to climate impacts, and collectively achieve global food security.
