CFHYM

Central Florida Hindu Youth Movement (CFHYM) is a community organization focused on promoting unity, peace, and youth involvement in Hinduism across Central Florida. Its mission is to encourage meaningful activities and support causes that strengthen young people’s participation in the religion, while its vision is a harmonious Hindu community that fosters a positive environment for today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders. CFHYM’s values include unity, duty, karma, service, truth, and awareness.

The group holds monthly networking meetings at different mandirs, temples, and Hindu organizations, where participants share ideas and discuss activities. It also encourages youth to explore Hindu culture, learn about Hinduism, and take part in community service. Past causes have included Relay for Life and the Believe and Achieve Scholarship Foundation. Featured initiatives include an academic scholarship program, a hurricane relief drive supporting Save the Children, and summer camp incentives for Central Florida mandirs. CFHYM also provides a non-judgmental forum for young people to exchange ideas, values, and goals, and to help organize the movement’s activities.
