Combatants for Peace is a non-profit, volunteer organization founded in 2006 by former combatants from both the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Palestinian combatants. As individuals who have actively participated in the cycle of violence in the region, we have come together with a shared vision of promoting peace through non-violent means. Our mission is to build the social infrastructure necessary for ending the conflict and the Israeli occupation.

We believe that by working as communities of Palestinians and Israelis, we can serve as a role model for both people, showcasing a real alternative to the cycle of violence. Through our joint non-violent activism, we aim to bring about attitudinal and policy changes at both the societal and political levels. Combatants for Peace envisions a strong and influential bi-national community, demonstrating viable cooperation and coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis.

Our ultimate goal is to end the occupation and establish a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, ensuring two states live side by side in peace and cooperation. By joining forces and rejecting all means of violence, we are working together to end the occupation, bring just peace to the land, and show that Israelis and Palestinians can work and live together.
