CF Ranch is a hunting ranch headquartered in the Davis Mountains, just north of Alpine in far West Texas. Its location is near Big Bend National Park and the communities of Marathon, Fort Davis, Lajitas, and Marfa. The ranch highlights the regionβs landscape and history, noting that local topography was shaped by the Paisano Volcano.
CF Ranch offers hunting opportunities for mule deer, Barbary sheep (aoudad), mouflon sheep, elk, and other game. Mule deer hunts operate under the Managed Lands Deer Program, with a season running from early November through the end of January; listed prices start at $3,500. Barbary sheep and mouflon hunts are available year-round, with September through December identified as the best months. Elk hunting runs from August 15 to January 15, including a rut hunt from September 1 to November 1. Other game includes axis, blackbuck antelope, turkey, blue quail, buffalo, javelina, and mountain lion. The ranch also provides information about accommodations, hunting locations, and past hunting photos, along with contact details for inquiries.
