CFRB

CFRB, the Center for Children Affected by Substance Exposure, is a Danish specialist organization focused on children exposed to alcohol, drugs, or medication before birth. It works to increase understanding of these children’s needs and the effects prenatal substance exposure can have on wellbeing, the nervous system, and development. CFRB draws on many years of practical and theoretical experience in this field and supports professionals and caregivers who work with affected children and young people.

Its services include individual advice, professional guidance, and supervision for foster families, teachers, educators, social workers, schools, institutions, and other care settings. Supervision is available in person, online, or by telephone, with services offered across Denmark. CFRB also provides courses, lectures, and training designed to help participants recognize prenatal substance-related harm, better understand children’s experiences, and respond to their individual needs.
