About CFU
The Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan (CFU) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting and developing cricket in Uzbekistan. Established in November 2019, CFU's main goal is to elevate the status of cricket in the country and encourage a healthy lifestyle among its population. Led by President Aziz Mihliev, CFU has made significant strides in advancing cricket in Uzbekistan, organizing training courses for coaches and players, and fostering partnerships with institutions like the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and the Pakistan Cricket Board.
CFU actively participates in international exchanges, sending delegations to countries like India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, while hosting local matches and tournaments within Uzbekistan. Through initiatives like the "Triangular Series" and "ANFA Tashkent T20", CFU aims to engage cricket enthusiasts nationwide and showcase the talents of Uzbek cricket teams on a global stage.
