CG-ARTS, the Computer Graphic Arts Society, is a Japanese public-interest foundation established in 1991 to develop talent and promote culture in fields involving computer-based visual information. Its work connects education, culture, and society through two main areas: helping people gain structured knowledge and practical skills, and supporting emerging talent and new forms of creative expression.

For education, CG-ARTS develops curricula and learning materials, publishes books, supports educators and certified schools, and offers examinations, practical assessments, seminars, and events. Its assessments include certifications in multimedia, computer graphics, web design, and image-processing engineering, as well as a practical animation test for aspiring animators.

In cultural promotion, the foundation organizes student competitions, supports creators, and provides consulting and production services for exhibitions, festivals, and other events, particularly in media arts. Its initiatives include the Next Young Artist Award, formerly the Student CG Contest, and creative support programs. CG-ARTS also shares articles, interviews, and event information through its media platform, helping learners and creative professionals explore new developments in computer graphics, film, and media art.
