CG Carers

CG Carers is a home-based care provider established in 2006, with experience placing qualified, experienced carers. Its aim is to offer an affordable, safe and desirable alternative to moving into a care home or living with family. Serving clients throughout KwaZulu-Natal, with live-in care available in most of the province and some parts of Gauteng, the organisation helps people remain in familiar surroundings while supporting their independence, dignity and wellbeing.

CG Carers provides one-on-one, live-in and part-time care for older people, people with disabilities and others who need support. Services can include assistance with personal care, hygiene, nutrition, mobility and medication, as well as care for bedridden clients and help using equipment such as wheelchairs and commodes. Carers can also provide companionship, outings, transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping and errands. The service includes communication with families, reports and record keeping.

Care is tailored to individual needs and budgets. During an initial assessment, a consultant discusses the appropriate level of care and fee.
