About Coast Guard Mutual Assistance
Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) is the official relief society of the U. S. Coast Guard, providing vital financial aid to the entire Coast Guard family.
As an independent non-profit charitable organization, CGMA's mission is to promote the financial stability and general well-being of Coast Guard personnel through interest-free loans, grants, and financial counseling. They offer a wide range of assistance programs, including emergency assistance, education programs, medical and dental assistance, quick loan programs, housing assistance, debt management, disaster response, special needs support, adoption assistance, and more. CGMA is dedicated to helping all members of the Coast Guard family, including active duty members, retired military personnel, civilian employees, reserve members, and surviving family members.
