CGT Enterprises

CGT Enterprises is a family-owned, locally operated hauling, delivery, and recycling business serving Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Founded by Trevor Squires, the company draws on his 40 years of experience living and working in the community and emphasizes reliable service and local support. Its waste diversion program also helps provide furniture and mattresses to local individuals and families at no cost, with free delivery.

Services include household dump runs, yard cleanouts, indoor item removal, residential appliance pickup and disposal, curbside delivery, and household moving. Customers can arrange transport with a truck, trailer, or driver, while handling loading and unloading themselves. For beverage recycling, CGT Enterprises collects, sorts, and counts containers, then returns 50 percent of the refundable deposit to the customer. Starting prices vary by service, and dump runs include the City of Yellowknife’s tipping fee. Indoor removal may incur additional charges, and the company does not accept dangerous goods. CGT Enterprises operates seven days a week, except statutory holidays when the Solid Waste Facility is generally closed.
