Dr. Stephen Gottschalk, a renowned ACGT Research Fellow at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, is utilizing grant funding from ACGT to develop CAR T-cell therapy specifically for children with sarcomas.
During a Q&A, Dr. Gottschalk emphasized the challenges faced in treating sarcomas due to limited patient samples and inadequate research funds for rare cancers. His passion for improving outcomes for pediatric patients with sarcomas stems from the need for progress in this challenging cancer type.
