The Collins Geigert World Education Foundation (CGWEF) is a nonprofit charity dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for young people, primarily in Africa. Formally established as a foundation in 2021, it builds on years of support from the Collins/Geigert family for students unable to continue their education. The organization provides grants and selective scholarships to promising students, including orphans and young people from extremely poor single-parent households.
Support can help students pursue secondary and college-level studies in fields of their choice, with assistance addressing educational costs and related needs. The foundation’s mission is to educate the mind, heart, and soul, encouraging lifelong learning, community leadership, and service. It aims to help students develop their potential and contribute to positive change in their communities and beyond.
Visitors can learn about the foundation’s story, leadership, scholarship program, and students’ experiences, as well as follow student progress through its newsletter. Donations are accepted through a secure online form or by personal check to support the foundation’s education programs
