Centre Hospitalier de Pau

The Centre Hospitalier de Pau is a public hospital serving Pau and the surrounding Béarn and Soule area. It is the support institution for the Béarn et Soule Territorial Hospital Group, bringing together a broad range of healthcare services and professional resources. Its care offer includes medicine, surgery, geriatrics, emergency services, women’s and children’s health, medical imaging, pharmacy, laboratory services, and mobile care teams. The hospital also provides clinical research and therapeutic patient education.

For maternity care, expectant parents can register online, with early registration encouraged during pregnancy. The hospital’s services also include a sexual health and pregnancy termination centre, as well as a cardiology day hospital. Patients and visitors can access online appointment booking, a medical directory, and online payment services.

Alongside patient care, the Centre Hospitalier de Pau supports health professional training through programs for nursing assistants, nurses, healthcare managers, and continuing education, as well as emergency care instruction. The institution highlights quality, safety, pain management, hygiene, and accessibility, and invites community donations to support its work.
