Chakona is a prominent book trading company founded in Samara in 1994. It operates as a financially independent family business, dedicated to offering diverse products and exceptional service rather than prioritizing profit. With 28 stores across Samara, Togliatti, Zhigulevsk, and Syzran, including its flagship store in the Gold shopping center, Chakona has built a robust retail presence.

The brand offers a wide variety of products including books, stationery, creative supplies, developmental games, puzzles, posters, and board games. In 2005, Chakona expanded its reach with an online store that provides shipping across Russia, enhancing accessibility for customers in the region. Additionally, Chakona serves libraries and wholesales to retail book traders, demonstrating its commitment to the book community.

Future growth plans include opening new stores and broadening service offerings. Chakona remains a trusted choice for families, schools, and collectors, providing everything from educational materials to festive decorations
