CHaD HERO is a dedicated and dynamic community-oriented event organized to support the Dartmouth Health Children's Hospital and its mission to enhance the health and happiness of children in the region. Scheduled for October 20, 2024, the 19th annual CHaD HERO invites participants of all ages to engage in a variety of activities, including a Half Marathon, 5K run, 5K walk, and a fun 1-Mile “Cams Course” Fun Run. Additional opportunities to contribute include volunteering and participating virtually.

The event features the lively CHaD HERO Festival, which offers games, food, and entertainment for families, ensuring a fun-filled atmosphere. Participants can form teams, fundraise, and earn rewards through various donation programs, including a Donation Match Program to amplify their impact. The CHaD HERO embodies a heartfelt commitment to empowering children and their families, making every mile and every dollar count in supporting essential healthcare services at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
