About עמותת ״חג שמח״
"חג שמח" is an association that provides assistance to families in need during Passover and Rosh Hashanah. As an organization dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged families, "חג שמח" contributes "food cards" that are honored by food networks as equivalent to cash. The main principle guiding the organization is to donate 100% of the funds directly to the families, without any mediation fees or complications.
This donation, in the form of a "food card," can be used for any product except tobacco and alcohol. The families are identified through cooperation with municipal welfare departments, who participate in distributing the cards during each holiday. The amazing volunteers of "חג שמח" play an integral role by personally delivering the food cards and wishing the families a happy holiday.
